Modular design solid wood bunk bed with vertical ladder and slide is available in two heights, three colors, three styles of headboards, and five sizes.

This bunk bed is part of our Modular Collection. The name is for the fact that bunk is made of many building blocks so you have a lot of choices.

The modular design means you have zillions of options before your purchase and lots of possibilities in the future. This is because you can obtain parts and convert your item to something else. This is our only collection which we sell as a whole or by pieces.

Made of either birch, maple, or aspen premium knot free solid hardwood. You can not choose your wood type, the factory does it.

Usability

This bunk bed with a slide is great for one or two kids. Use it as your everyday bed for one child with one extra bed for sleepovers or for two kids. Vertical ladder makes the footprint of this bunk very minimal.

Slide is a lovely add-on piece. It does take extra space, but sure worth it.

You can use our modular design bunk bed for kids, teens or adults since they are well made and very sturdy. That is, use the slide when kids are young, and remove it when they are teens, and keep the bunk for guests or make two beds out of it.

One bunk bed frame with options in 2 heights and 5 sizes with a vertical ladder and 3 different styles of headboards in 3 colors. Please note that the Curve headboard is 4” taller than the rest.

And one slide which is made of solid hardwood and MDF surface for easy sliding. You can install the slide on the left or right hand side. It comes with two sturdy metal hooks so it is possible for you to remove the slide. There are two safety pieces that go over those hooks so you do not remove the slide accidently

Under Bed Storage

There are a variety of under-bed storage solutions for this collection. You can add a storage trundle, or under-bed dresser, or two independent and large roll-in-out drawers under this bunk bed.

Safety

Modular design bunk has a rating for 400 lb weight on the upper deck and it is fair to say the lower deck can also hold just as much. This is for static weight on the entire surface.

There are 4 metal pings, purpose built Rocklocks, which locks the upper to lower headboards.

Slats are made of knotty solid pine wood. They are 2.5” wide and 2.5” apart from each other.

Ladder

This bunk comes with one thick and sturdy ladder. Each rung is almost 3” wide with anti slip grooves. Angle ladder versions come with metal handle bars to assist.

Assembly

Assembly of Modular Design bunk is reasonably simple. No need to assemble the headboards. You need to assemble the ladder, the guard rails, connect mattress rails, and slats. The tricky bit is installing the Rocklock.

Mattress

Standard size mattress fits this bunk bed just fine. For the upper bunk, you can use one of our 6” thick mattresses. For the lower bunk, depending on which height you are going to choose, use either 6 or 8” thick mattress.
