Foam Mattress

Our high density foam mattress in six inch thickness is an ideal choice for your bunk and loft bed. It is made of soft knit fabric to enhance confomfort and two sided so it lasts longer. Mattress is made in Italy to ensure high standards and it is vacuum packed for easy shipping.

Thickness Six

For almost all of our loft and bunk beds, we recommend using a six inch thick mattress. Reasons are:

On the upper bunk or loft, you need safe distance from top of your mattress to top of your guard rail. A thick mattress can compromise the safety measure that guard rail provides. In rare cases, a thick mattress on the upper bunk also reduces your clearance to the ceiling.

For the lower part of your bunk, a thick mattress can make your space very claustrophobic.

Standard Size

All of our mattresses, including this one, are based on Canadian standard sizes. What is standard is length and width but thickness is not.

High Density Foam

We use high-density polyurethane foam in this mattress. High density foam mattresses offer comfort and longevity because they are more dense than a traditional foam mattress.

Two Sided Mattress

This mattress is two sided which means you can use, and sleep on, both sides of the mattress therefore you get longer wear from your investment.

Cover

Cover of this mattress is soft knit white fabric on both sides and on the edges. Below the cover we use FR Rayon barrier fabric intended to protect your mattress and reduce flammable hazard.

Cover is swen and you can not remove it. We recommend that you use a mattress protector.

Packaging

Mattress is compressed to fit in a small box and hence easy and less expensive to ship. After you take it out of the package, it is going to take from a few hours for a few days to fully decompress. This depends on your room temperature as the colder environment slows the process a bit.
