Solid Hardwood Loft Bed

Modular design solid hardwood loft bed with angle ladder on end and slide is available in 2 heights, three wood colors, three styles of headboards, and in five sizes.

This loft bed is part of our Modular Collection. The name is for the fact that loft is made of many building blocks which give you a lot of choices.

The modular design means you have zillions of options before your purchase and lots of possibilities in the future. This is because you can obtain parts and convert your loft to something else, say to two loft beds for example. This is our only collection which we sell as a whole or by pieces.

You can use our modular design loft beds for kids, teens and adults both at home or in commercial settings such as BnBs.

Made of either birch, maple, or aspen premium knot-free solid hardwood, factory select. Solid hardwood bunk bed is strong, easy to maintain, and holds its value.

Usability

This loft bed divides into one individual bed or a daybed. Since the ladder is on end, you may need additional pieces to convert your loft to a bed frame.
As your child grows, you can remove the slide and add a desk and bookcase under this loft. That is, you can raise the height of your loft with additional pieces when you need to.

Slide

Price of this item includes the Slide which is also made of solid hardwood on the sides and ends. The smooth surface is MDF. It comes with two sturdy metal hooks so it is possible if you want to remove the slide. There are two safety pieces that go over those hooks so you do not remove the slide accidently.
You can install the slide on the left or right hand side.

Ladder

This bunk comes with one thick and sturdy ladder. Each rung is almost 3” wide with anti slip grooves. Angled ladder versions come with metal handle bars to assist.
Vertical ladder makes the footprint very minimal.
Angle ladder comes with a metal handlebar makes climbing up and down very safe and easy.

Assembly

Assembly of Modular Design loft bed is reasonably simple. No need to assemble the headboards. You need to assemble the ladder and slide and connect the headboards to the legs, the guard rails, mattress rails, and slats.

Safety

This solid hardwood loft bed has a rating of 400 lb weight on the upper deck. In our factory we put 800 lb weight on this loft and it holded nicely - though we recommend it to stay within the range of actual rating.

There are 4 metal pings, purpose built Rocklocks, which locks the upper headboards to lower legs so you can not pull the legs out accidently.

Slats

Slats are made of knotty solid pine wood. Each slat is 2.5” wide and 2.5” apart from each other for a total of 14 slats for single size. End slats are 4.7” each.

Mattress

Standard size mattress fits this loft bed just fine. We recommend using a six inches thick mattress.
For single (or twin) and double (or full) extra long sizes, please make sure to choose XL mattresses. You also need XL fitted sheets which are readily available.
